ROR Coffee Roastery expands operations to include barista training
The expansion will also include coffee set ups

Coffee roastery, Rate of Rise Coffee Roastery (ROR) has expanded operations. The company, which was co-founded by Emirati entrepreneur Omar Al Falasi, was founded six years ago.
ROR Coffee Roastery have now expanded operations to providing coffee bar setup, including specialty coffee setups. As part of the expansion, the company will also offer barista training.
“ROR’s goal is to take a global specialty coffee experience to an exceptional level. We provide barista training courses because we understand the importance of knowing all about the coffee and the technique before perfecting a cup,” says Al Falasi.

Improving the experience
“Coffee is an experience and the more knowledge the barista who’s making the cup has, the better he or she will be able to customise it to their customer’s preference. Also the training we offer allows coffee lovers to gain a variety of valuable skills not only limited to coffee-making but a wider range of aptitudes and knowledge that will be useful for years after, regardless of which path they take,” says Al Falasi.
Falasi says his vision for the brand was born from his desire to provide the Emirates with quality coffee. “We strive to drive all our passion in sourcing the best coffee and in order to ensure the perfect cup, it was time to bring expertise and the proper practices needed to create the perfect cup. Our focus has always been the full coffee experience through quality, flavours, and sustainable processes.”
Sustainability is also an important consideration for the brand. “In the past we have been very articulate in our coffee selection; we choose farms that we trust and are sustainable in every way,” he says. “We ensure the use of modern equipment and innovative techniques throughout every process from fermentation, storing, packaging and shipping,” he added.
